Colleen Pagaard - History, Bible and English
I double majored in English Literature and History at Oral Roberts Univiersity in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and went on to earn a Masters Degree in English Literature from the University of Tulsa, where I worked as a Teaching Assistant. After completing my degrees, I relocated to South Korea in 2011, where I lived and taught for four years at Yeungjin College and Daegu University. I have also worked in freelance editing and writing, and spent time in the PR industry as a Media Specialist. My teaching experience includes work with every age group and skill level, from short-term programs to university courses.
I was born and raised in Connecticut and my East Coast heart still loves terrible winters, proper bagels, and heated baseball rivalries. Living in Oklahoma gave me an appreciation for real thunderstorms, bonfires, and road trips. Living in South Korea brought the love of international living, Korean food, and my husband Nathan. In seeking the Lord’s will for my life and career, I have learned the necessity of an identity based on and fulfilled by Jesus Christ alone, and my hope and prayer is that each person discover that identity for themselves.
1If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:1-4)
